Honoring Paul - A Celebration of His Legacy.
July 3rd, 2025 join us at Paws from 5:30 pm to 8 pm for an evening in remembrance of Paul and a huge turning point for our shelter.
We're planning a special gathering on July 3rd to honor the life and legacy of Paul, a beloved shelter pup who changed the course of our work in ways we could never have imagined.
For those who are new to our community, Paul was raised in the shelter and struggled with severe kennel stress. Despite tireless efforts from staff, volunteers, and fosters, he faced overwhelming challenges adjusting to life outside the shelter-especially around other dogs and loud noises.
Ultimately, we made the heartbreaking decision to let Paul go, just before the fireworks on July 3rd.
